How we work together
Every engagement runs through a private client portal. No chasing me for a status update, no digging through email for the latest version.
Most consulting engagements run on email threads and attachments. Things get lost, versions drift, and the only person who knows the real status is the consultant.
I build the tools that fix that problem for clients, so it would be strange not to use one myself. These are the actual screens, captured from a demo account.
Everything starts on one page. Your engagement, where it stands, and what is coming next. That is the whole home screen.
Open the engagement and you get the state of it in one screen: overall progress, milestones complete, documents shared, and what is outstanding on the money side.
The stage strip along the top shows where we are in the arc, from proposal through to complete.
A real timeline, not a status email. Every milestone, when it runs, and how far along it is. If a date moves, you see it when I do.
When there is something to look at, the pages get shared into your portal. Click anywhere on the page to leave feedback exactly where you mean it, or sign it off when you are happy.
No screenshots pasted into emails, no “the third one down on page two.” You can also flip between desktop, tablet, and phone views to check how it holds up.
Process maps, reports, handover packages. Everything produced during the engagement is filed in the portal rather than scattered across a year of email.
It is still there after we finish, which is the point.
Contract value, what has been billed, what has been received, and what is still outstanding. Every invoice listed with its status, alongside the signed proposal it came from.
No surprise invoices, because you can see the number coming.
One more thing
The work I do is meant to outlive the engagement. Your processes, your documentation, your tools. Nothing here is a lock-in play, and nothing walks out the door when we finish.
These are real screens from the portal, captured from a demo account set up for this page. The client name, figures, and dates are placeholders. No actual client information is shown.
Let’s talk
A discovery call is a conversation about what’s not working, not a sales pitch. If I’m not the right fit I’ll say so.
